Stay at the Rio!
There are many reasons why you should stay at the Rio when you attend the 2008 Revelation Software Users’ Conference. We thought it would be helpful to let you know why we think you should stay on site and how you win just by doing so!
- Revelation Software must guarantee as certain amount of rooms. When we do not meet this number we are fined and required to pay for the rooms not used. This makes the cost of future conferences go up in two ways. First we have to pay the fines out of pocket as Revelation Software does not make any profit on our conferences. Second when trying to book future conferences the hotels review our previous pick up and utilization reports to see if they want our business and what rates to offer us. By staying on site and supporting Revelation Software, you are actually helping to keep attendance pricing down as well as room rates.
- Everyone staying on site as part of our room block (you must get your reservation in by the cut off date) will be invited to attend our Welcome Reception. We are doing something different this year and tickets will be sent to you the week before the conference. More details to follow.
- We have negotiated a rate of $149/ night. This is a great price for a major all suite hotel property in Vegas.
- You can check in right at the airport while waiting for your bags. You have to pass the check in booth to get out of the airport. No waiting in the lobby, just go straight to your room.
- $8.00 transport to the hotel and free transport to the strip. No rental car or expensive taxis needed.
- They have kiosks where you can print out your boarding pass. No more middle seats!
- The Rio offers 4 pools, a full service spa, an award winning buffet, gambling and even bowling. There is even 60,000 square feet of shopping.
- The Rio’s entertainment currently includes Penn & Teller, Tony N Tina’s Wedding. Prince’s 3121, Voodoo Lounge, Chippendales and Rio’s own Masquerade in the Sky (free show).
- There are 18 places to get something to eat or drink. Something for everyone…
- Staying on site offers you more opportunity to network and socialize with your peers.
Please book early as Vegas is a busy city with a large number of conventions. Everyone should
make their own hotel reservations at the Rio Hotel. You will need to identify yourself as part
of the Revelation Software Conference. Call 1-888-746-6955. PLEASE make your reservations
prior to 4/28 as the room block will close. Failure to meet our room block will cause steep penalties for Revelation Software and impact our pricing in the future. Rooms are $149/night. The Rio is an all suite hotel.
